Meadow View Lodge

Named because of its heart-warming view, this four-star eco-friendly luxury lodge is able to host up to eight guests wishing to get away on a short break or longer holiday. With its terrace, country views and hot tub, this self-catering getaway will ensure larger groups have the opportunity to share a relaxing holiday experience under the same roof.

One of Derbyshire’s most prestigious holiday lodges, Meadow View is nestled in landscaped grounds adjacent to a working farm and in the hamlet of Mount Pleasant. With Peak District and other Derbyshire highlights on the doorstep, there is also easy access to a wealth of visitor attractions and exceptional outdoor activities in the nearby counties of Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire.

The lodge itself has a spacious open plan sitting/dining room with a log fire, as well as kitchen and dining areas suitable for comfortably sitting all the guests at Meadow View. The four bedrooms boast two double rooms, one with a four-poster bed, TV and en suite wet room, and two twin rooms, both with TV. The sumptuous bathroom has a double-ended bath and the outdoor terrace is gated and fully enclosed.

This spacious kitchen is fully equipped to meet the self-catering requirements for eight people, with a dishwasher, microwave and washer lending a helping hand around your temporary log cabin home.

Furnished to a very high standard this rural Derbyshire lodge enables your entire party to enjoy every meal together. Part of the open plan kitchen, the dining area can be the heart of this Peak District holiday cottage and enable you all to relax and unwind over breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Do you have tiny tots? If so, high chairs are available upon request, if ordered in advance.

Sink into one of the two sofas and enjoy watching the 32” TV/DVD (Freeview) or listen to the Radio/CD. If you’re after a slice of the quiet life, cosy into the arm chair and watch the log fire, admire the view or read a book.

This environmentally friendly lodge benefits from air source heating and solar panels, alongside the under-floor heating and log burner* that will keep you warm when the British weather doesn’t. You could even try a dip in the hot tub on the terrace to keep you toasty on a cool English day.

*The first bag of logs is available free of charge, however, any additional supply of logs is charged at cost.

BEDROOM 1:
A stylish and modern four poster bed adds to the romance of this room. With its own en suite shower room, complimentary toiletries and lovely view, there’s almost no reason to leave it!

BEDROOM 2:
It’s definitely not double trouble in this luxury lodge’s bedroom! Furnished to an exceptionally high standard with a double bed that will have you snoozing in before you can say ‘Derbyshire Dales’, with quality fixtures and fittings, you’ll feel as snug as a bug in a deluxe holiday lodge!

BEDROOM 3:
This light and airy room is furnished with two single beds and one wardrobe. This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedrooms 2 and 4.

BEDROOM 4:
Similar to Bedroom, 3 this bedroom is also furnished with two single beds and a wardrobe and shares a bathroom with Bedrooms 2 and 3.
